PlusMedia LLC, a full-service media agency specializing in multichannel direct response marketing and list and media management, has named Kate McGee to the newly created role of chief operating officer.

McGee will be responsible for key functional areas of the company and focus on achieving operational excellence and prioritizing investments in talent, technology and resources to boost organizational growth and the client experience.

“After experiencing PlusMedia’s expertise as a client while at Amazon, I am thrilled to be joining Sherry and the rest of the leadership team in optimizing the organization to drive continued growth and industry-leading service for our clients,” McGee said.

McGee was previously chief marketing officer of delivery.com with responsibility for marketing, sales, merchant development, human resources and finance. Previously, she held marketing, strategy and sales positions at Quidsi, a former Amazon subsidiary, Kellwood and Tommy Hilfiger.

“Kate’s client-side experience gives her unique insight into our business and operations,” PlusMedia President Sherry Scapperotti said. “Her leadership experience and progressive vision will play a crucial role in PlusMedia’s evolution as we approach our 20th year in business.”

McGee earned an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College.
