Paycom Software Inc., an Oklahoma City-based payroll and human resource technology provider, recently promoted Jon Evans to chief operating officer and Brad Smith to chief information officer.
As the chief operating officer, Evans will be responsible for managing Paycom’s ongoing business operations and will oversee program directors. Smith, on the other hand, will be in charge of ongoing development of Paycom’s proprietary payroll and human capital management software.
“I am incredibly pleased to announce these promotions as both Jon and Brad have demonstrated the leadership and aptitude to serve in their new capacities,” Chad Richison, the founder and CEO of Paycom, said. “They have been instrumental in our ability to further the innovation of our software and drive client adoption while continuing to make our clients successful in today’s rapidly changing business environment.”
Evans previously worked for Paycom as the senior executive vice president of operations. Before that, he served as the company’s executive vice president of accounting. Smith has worked for Paycom for approximately 13 years. He started off as the company’s director of information technology.
