Paychex has joined a coalition of over 230 private-sector employers as a member of the Veterans Jobs Mission, a group of employers that has committed to helping veterans find meaningful employment and to hiring over 1 million former U.S. military members.

“As a leader in the HR and payroll services industry, serving more than 600,000 clients nationwide, Paychex is supported by a team of innovators and creative problem-solvers, many of whom are former or active members of the military,” Paychex vice president of human resources and organizational development Laurie Zaucha said in a statement. “Paychex is proud to join the Veteran Jobs Mission coalition and is committed to expanding employment opportunities for those who served our country as a member of the United States Armed Forces.”

The provider of integrated human capital management solutions for payroll, HR retirement and insurance services also announced it will work to increase retention and career development opportunities for its veteran employees.

The company is also a Jeans For Troops Day event, participating in the event sponsored by the GI Go Fund. The GI Go Fund helps veterans find employment, access to housing, and educational and health benefits.
