Global reinsurer PartnerRe Ltd. has named Dorothee Burkel its first chief corporate and people operations officer.

Her experience developing and managing top talent in agile, dynamic environments makes her an excellent fit for this role.”
Burkel previously served as people operations director for the Europe, Middle East and African region at Google. She has more than three decades of experience and had worked for AOL France and AOL Europe in corporate communication roles.
