For the second consecutive year, Boston-area biopharmaceutical services provider Parexel International Corp. earned a spot among 300 companies on Forbes’ America’s Best Employers list, a testament to its reputation among 30,000 employees surveyed nationwide.

With the anonymous survey asking respondents how likely they would be to recommend their company to others, Parexel scored well enough to achieve the honor for the second time. The company said it strives to invest in its staffers and create a work environment conducive to high performance; it regularly sponsors training and professional development incentives for its workers.

“Receiving this recognition for the second consecutive year is a testament to our efforts to advance investments in developing our people, and we are pleased to see that reflected in strong feedback from employees,” said Michelle Graham, Parexel’s senior vice president and chief HR officer. “We strive to attract, develop and retain top talent at Parexel to best serve our clients in bringing new, life-saving treatments to patients around the globe.”

Parexel was also recently recognized by Training magazine, included in its “Training Top 125” list. Parexel offers research, consulting, communications and technology for the medical industry including informatics and medical imaging solutions.

Forbes’ list acknowledges 300 mid-sized and 500 large employers annually.
