ORBA welcomes several new employees

Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams Ltd. (ORBA), a Chicago-based full-service accounting, tax and business consulting firm, welcomes newly hired personnel in various departments of the company. 

First, the Accounting Services Department welcomes five new members: Carolina Cambraia, Travis Conner, Clair Maude, Melissa McLaughlin and Antwone Turner. 

Cambraia is a business administration graduate from Florida Atlantic University, while Conner is an accounting graduate from DePaul University. 

Maude joins the department as a junior associate and is currently preparing for her upcoming CPA exam. McLaughlin, who has more than 16 years of work experience in accounting, taxation and HR functions, also joins the department as a senior associate.

Turner was also hired as a senior associate. He holds an accounting degree and a master’s degree in education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. 

Meanwhile, ORBA’s Cloud Services Department also welcomes three new members: Alma Garza, Katrina Landram and Marvin Taylor. 

Garza, who has experience in private and public accounting, will serve as the department’s account manager. Landram, who has previous work experience in tax preparation and accounts receivable, also joins the department as a senior associate. She is a graduate of accounting at Franklin University. 

Taylor joins the department as an associate. He also has previous work experience in accounts payable and receiving, and is an accounting graduate at Hampton University. 

Lastly, the firm welcomes Francisco Torres as a new member of the Tax Department. He is a CPA and an economics graduate at Hampton University.
