Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking to hire a human resources technician assistant.
Duties of the full-time position include providing guidance on HR matters, entering HR-related data into automated systems, auditing HR-related transactions, maintaining files and records, preparing reports, and operating standard office equipment.
Prospective candidates must possess a four-year combination of education, training and/or experience in clerical/technical HR work; strong communication, organizational, computer and analytical skills; and knowledge of the DCPS administration, as well as guidelines, laws, policies, procedures, and regulations governing the district’s HR activities.
Applicants should be able to multi-task and work independently.
Preferred qualifications include HR experience with SAP or comparable automated HR system for a large, complex organization.
