New York adds 4,900 non-government jobs in June

The state of New York created 4,900 private-sector jobs in June, according to the ADP Regional Employment Report.

In June, 1,300 jobs were created in the goods-producing sector and 6,200 were created in service-producing.

Broken down by industry, 500 jobs were created in natural resources/mining and construction; 800 in manufacturing; 3,500 in professional and business services; and 1,700 in trade, transportation and utilities.

ADP, a leader of human capital management solutions, collaborates with Moody’s Analytics Inc. Its Regional Employment Report is issued free every month, publishing changes in the regional and state private employment.
