Job seekers are invited to attend Michigan’s regular monthly job expo event presented by JobFairGiant.com, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Aug. 30 in Southfield.
Individuals seeking employment will be able to meet with HR representatives for information about immediate job openings in the core counties of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb. Approximately 50 local and national employers will have spokespersons available at the event, ranging from private sector to public.
“We have created this event for candidates that need to make an immediate job change or want a new job fast; the featured employers have 500 job openings available that candidates can interview for onsite at the upcoming career expo,” the organization’s community outreach director CJ Eason said.
Positions are available in diverse fields including engineering, IT, skilled trades, seasonal, manufacturing, production, industrial, general labor, customer service, retail, management, restaurant, accounting, banking, office support, clerical, data entry, call center, installation, technical, machining, electrical, mortgage, financial planning, insurance, education, truck driving, real estate, nursing, rehabilitation, human services and more, according to JobFairGiant.com
An additional regional job fair in Michigan is scheduled for Oct. 27 in Troy.
