Twenty-year human resources professional Joe Ellison has been named as Maxor National Pharmacy Services’ senior vice president of human resources. 

Ellison will head the company’s organizational development, strategic human resource planning, talent recruitment and employee engagement. 

“I am passionate about the dynamic intersection of great talent, aligned with high-quality health care services to improve the lives of others,” Ellison said in a press release.

Ellison’s experience includes leadership in complex, multi-site health care and technology businesses and previously serving as the head of human resources teams in PBM, speciality pharmacy and disease care management. 

“We are pleased to have Joe join the Maxor team,” Maxor CEO Mike Ellis said in a statement. “His extensive experience leading value-added HR contributions to fuel performance and meaningful engagement will be a fundamental enabler of our future growth.” 

Maxor, founded in 1926, is a pharmacy services platform which includes several business segments including MaxorPlus, Maxor Pharmacy Management and Consulting Services, and Maxor Speciality. Its corporate offices are located in Amarillo, Texas.
