Cincinnati-based HR professional Todd Markle recently launched Hello Hire as a unique business centered around candidate experience improvement for those companies placing a high value on recruitment and actively seeking talent acquisition.

In spearheading the boutique approach to the venture, Markle leverages the HR industry’s competitive atmosphere by helping businesses reach talent more efficiently.

Having previously spent time at Nielsen and serving on The Conference Board’s Talent Acquisition Executive Council, he views the candidate event as ripe for development, given the current workforce landscape and recent enhancements to recruitment technology systems.

“Organizations can significantly increase their ability to attract outstanding talent by paying much closer attention to their Candidate Experience – essentially how they treat individuals who have potential interest in coming to work for their organization,” Markle said.

Hello Hire provides companies with an audit template for assessing candidate experience, the results of which help to pinpoint any loopholes or links needing clarification.

“A crucial first step is a candid evaluation of what is currently working well and what is not,” Markle, who founded the company and also serves as the venture’s principal consultant, said. “This type of assessment is often challenging for internal Talent Acquisition teams to do quickly and impartially.”
