Manufacturer seeks HR generalist in Illinois

Klein Tools Inc., which manufactures hand tools for a variety of industries, is seeking a human resource generalist in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
The HR generalist will be tasked with placing job postings, reviewing resumes and applications, conducting orientation for new employees, maintaining files, handling benefit enrollment and administration, assisting employees with benefit issues, ensuring records in the HR system are up-to-date, providing guidance on employees relations and activities, responding to grievances, and conducting safety training.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business; three to five years of experience in the HR field; and strong communication, organizational and computer skills. Applicants should be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, and handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include experience with ADP HR & Benefits, as well as experience working in a manufacturing and union environment.
