Lazydays Holdings has appointed Nicholas Tomashot chief financial officer, overseeing the company’s financial, IT and HR operations.

Tomashot took over the position when Maura Berney stepped down. She will work with him through June 15 to ensure close collaboration and a smooth and efficient transition of responsibilities.

“Nick has significant experience leading financial functions in complex, multi-site operation businesses, while maintaining a relentless focus on providing a best-in-class customer experience,” Chairman and CEO Bill Murnane said. “I believe that Nick’s experience and expertise will enhance our ability to provide happiness and enjoyment to many of the millions of RV customers across the country.”

Tomashot previously served as senior vice president and general manager in the National Service Center of US Foods.

With over 30 years of financial management experience and extensive background in the financial industry, Tomashot said he has developed a deep appreciation for Lazydays as the RV Authority and industry leader.

“Lazydays is leading the transformation of a dynamic and exciting industry while beginning to operate as a public company, and I can’t imagine a more exciting time to join the team,” Tomashot said.

Before his stint at US Foods, he served at Pinnacle Data Systems for five years as CFO, and held several domestic and international finance positions at Innovex, Pillsbury, Procter & Gamble, and NCR Corp.

He is a graduate of Ohio State University and has a master’s degree in finance and strategic management from Duke University.
