Speciality and fresh food products distributor KeHe seeks a human resource generalist in Romeoville, Illinois.

Duties of the position include interviewing candidates, administering the hiring process, facilitating employee training, managing workers compensation, administering company benefits programs, managing leaves of absence, maintaining personnel records, managing the performance evaluation process, assisting with employee relations issues, and driving risk management and safety programs.

Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma; at least three years of HR experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; strong communication and organizational skills; the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; the ability to handle confidential information; and knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR policies.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, PHR/SPHR certification, and English/Spanish bilingual.
