Karen Isaacs will lead HR functions, oversee cultural policy and work alongside colleagues as a vice president and senior manager at the specialty broker advisory firm JLT Specialty USA’s Philadelphia location.

“We are pleased to have Karen join our team as she will be invaluable to enhancing our HR operations and culture and implementing our growth strategy,” CEO Michael Rice said. “JLT is committed to preserving a culture that is founded upon attracting and retaining the best talent in the industry.”

With a bachelor’s degree in HR management from Indiana University, Isaacs will inform her new position with two decades of past experience. Before joining JLT, she served as senior vice president of HR at Hamilton Insurance Group, where she assisted in refining the firm’s cultural and operational baseline.

Previously she worked at AIG as vice president of strategic HR, crafting a global human capital plan for customer operations. She began her career at Gannett, and holds professional memberships in SHRM and HRPS organizations.

Isaacs will oversee more than 650 team members across 30-plus sites involved in domestic retail, reinsurance and wholesale business. With offices worldwide, JLT Specialty USA maintains headquarters in New York City.
