Longtime Illinois ad agency Shaker Recruitment Marketing will sponsor Talent Board’s 2017 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards — a unique, educational global contest fostering a cooperative atmosphere and facilitating improvement for all participants regardless of outcome.

“We work with a diverse roster of clients, and each is committed to providing a positive and memorable candidate experience,” company president Joe Shaker Jr. said. “We’re proud to be part of a program that honors the process and allows for continued learning to prioritize improvement and development.”

Talent Board is a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the candidate experience, valuing the benefits of process rather than focusing exclusively on results. Stakeholders described the company as committed to “forever changing the manner in which job candidates are treated.”

“Although the CandE Awards is a competition, it exists to enable any company to benchmark and improve their candidate experience,” Talent Board said via its website. “Any corporation … will benefit from participating in the benchmark process.”

Shaker will act as a gold sponsor of the 2017 event, slated in multiple versions for global language speakers: English, French and German (coming soon). Talent Board offers employers throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific the opportunity to participate.

“Companies that participate can receive access to data that benchmarks their candidate experience against the aggregate of all winners,” Talent Board said via its website.
