Cattle Empire LLC, a second-generation, family-owned cattle operation, is seeking a human resources leader in its Satanta, Kansas, facility.
The person in this position will oversee the human resources function for the entire farm, with a focus on creating teams that consistently meet performance goals. Under the supervision of the chief strategy officer and with the support of the human resources team, the leader will be a liaison between management and employees.
Key responsibilities include hiring, training, evaluations, benefits and compensation and wellness undertaken with knowledge of relevant state and federal policies. A college degree, ideally a master’s, is desired, along with at least five years of experience. Awareness of legal issues, labor laws, safety and other areas are also a plus.
