Human Resource Executive (HRE) Magazine has acquired HRM Asia Pte Ltd., a move HRE says will help globally expand the company’s reach to HR professionals.
HRE Magazine, which is the producer of the HR Technology Conference & Exposition, announced its acquisition of Singapore-based HRM Asia, a multi-platform network that provides HR discussion and information to professionals in Asia Pacific.
“As the leader in HR technology conferences and content, this acquisition is a logical progression in our global growth plan,” vice president of global events and Human Resource Executive publisher Rebecca McKenna said in a news release. “It’s particularly exciting to deepen our relationships with multi-national vendors and HR professionals who are seeking to expand their position across APAC.”
HRE’s acquisition of HRM Asia includes attaining the HR Summit & Expo, Smart Workforce Summit and the HRM Asia Congress Series, the HRM Reader’s Choice Awards and HRM Magazine as well as digital content.
“The Asia-Pacific region is a prime source of business growth and qualified talent,” LRP Publications and LRP Conferences President Kenneth Kahn said in a statement. “It’s also a region that has been at the forefront of HR technology trends, especially in its adoption of mobile technologies.
