Real estate investment trust company American Homes 4 Rent is looking for a human resources and administration supervisor in Agoura Hills, California.
Duties of the full-time position include overseeing employee events, providing constructive feedback for employee development, assisting with employee relations issues, working with managers on the annual safety evacuation plan and safety drills, and performing compliance audits.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business management or related field; a valid driver’s license; at least five years of related experience in employee relations, mailroom management and budgeting; at least three years of supervisory experience; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio; and working knowledge of ADP and/or SilkRoad.
Preferred qualifications include PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designations.
