Invenergy, a developer of power generation and energy storage projects, seeks a human resources generalist at its Chicago office.
Duties of the position include coordinating the onboarding process for new employees, maintaining employee files, interpreting HR policies and procedures, administering the semi-annual performance evaluation process, providing guidance on employee relations issues, dealing with employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures, providing employee-related reports, and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal employment laws.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline, at least one year of HR coordinator/generalist experience, experience working for a multi-state and global company, and strong organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications include PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification, workday experience, and Spanish language skills.
