Deere Employees Credit Union, which serves the employees and retirees of Deere & Co. and their families, seeks a human resource generalist in Moline, Illinois.

The generalist will be tasked with recruiting and interviewing potential employees, checking references and conducting background checks, arranging new employee orientation, administering employee benefit programs, maintaining personnel files, administering the employee performance management system, calculating monthly incentive earnings, processing payroll, administering employee leaves of absence, managing employee recognition events, and coordinating staff meetings.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field, or equivalent experience; at least two years of HR experience; the ability to use Microsoft Office applications; and strong communication, organizational, mathematical and reasoning skills.

Preferred qualifications include PHR certification.
