HR generalist needed at crop insurance company in Minnesota

Crop insurance provider ProAg is seeking a human resources generalist in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
The full-time generalist will be responsible for recruiting employees, overseeing innovative sourcing strategies to attract talent, ensuring proper new employee orientation and on-boarding, conducting management training on HR-related topics, maintaining employee records, administering HR policies, assisting in determining appropriate pay rates, conducting exit interviews, developing reports for HR projects, and providing guidance on HR matters.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related field, at least two years of HR experience, or the equivalent education and experience; intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; and a willingness to learn. Applicants must be able to proactively respond to a changing business environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include five years of HR experience with at least two years of experience with talent acquisition, and SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CSP/SCP certification.
