Electrical raceway solutions provider Atkore International is looking for a corporate human resources director in Harvey, Illinois.
Duties of the full-time position include managing and assisting with HR initiatives, coordinating the on-boarding of new hires, assisting with performance review processes, participating in strategic staffing and workplace planning discussions, negotiating contracts for services and meeting venues, assisting with the preparation of the HR budget, handling HR investigations, preparing meeting materials, and managing ad hoc HR projects.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least eight years of HR management experience, advanced to expert-level experience with Microsoft Office applications, strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
An advanced degree is preferred.
