Hornblower Cruises and Events is seeking
applicants for an open human resources benefits manager position, which will
see the successful candidate oversee the selection, design and administration
of the company’s benefits program.
Hornblower is a yacht and public dining cruise company
operating more than 60 vessels in northern California, southern California and
New York, including the ferry services for the National Park Services’
operations on Alcatraz and the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This
position is in the company’s San Francisco office.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in HR, finance or
accounting and five or more years of experience in human resources or
hospitality and in managing a benefits program or in a benefits broker
administration role. Candidates with experience serving an hourly and/or
unionized workforce in an HR capacity are encouraged to apply. Applicants
should be familiar with HRMS, the San Francisco health ordinance and the
ACA. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and
have a track record of overseeing multiple project and meeting deadline.
Hornblower’s benefits manager position entails overseeing, managing
and ensuring compliance for the company’s benefits plans, the
benefits portal and the annual benefits enrollment for the company. The
successful candidate would also be the day-to-day benefits contact for Northern
California employees and would assist HR teams outside of Northern California.
