Hormel Foods has received a silver Stevie Award in the Employer of the Year – Food and Beverage Category.

“It is a great honor to be recognized with a Stevie Award as an Employer of the Year in the food and beverage industry,” Janet Hogan, senior vice president of human resources, said after accepting the award. “It is a true testament to our culture that inspires people to support each other in a way that is irreplaceable, which makes Hormel Foods a great place to work.”

Hormel received its award due to its role as an innovative company that strives to promote from within and care for both its employees and its consumers. The Stevie Awards also recognized Hormel for having a collaborative culture and strong training programs.

Stevie Awards honor employers and human resources professionals and employers around the world, as well as team achievements and HR-related products and suppliers. Nominees included 500 organizations, programs and individuals.

Hormel Foods has more than 35 brands under its umbrella.
