Vizient, a member-driven health care performance improvement company, seeks a senior strategic human resources business partner in Skokie, Illinois.

Duties of the position include understanding the needs of business units, building effective HR relationships with employees and business leaders, applying change management and organizational development strategies, advising management on employee concerns, ensuring HR services are appropriately provided to internal client needs, using metrics to assess the performance of HR programs, creating a positive and ethical work environment, applying reward strategies, and solving problems using legal and HR processes knowledge.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related field; eight years of experience in HR and talent management environment; and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Preferred qualifications include PHR/SPHR certification, as well as corporate, health care or medical experience.
