Goodwill Industries
of Southwest Florida is seeking applications to fill a human resources
coordinator position that primarily entails processing new hires and other
human resources-related clerical tasks.
The position is
open to high school graduates with at least two years of experience in a
general office or clerical position, though candidates with human resources
experienced are preferred. Applicants should be able to operate typical office
technology like computers, basic software and copy machines. They should be
able to conform to strict guidelines in executing their work and follow verbal
and written instructions. Candidates are expected to work in diverse office
environments, contribute to multiple projects
simultaneously, exercise strong judgment and communicate well both
verbally and in writing.
The successful
candidate for this position will be responsible for carrying out set procedures
for processing new hires, in addition to other clerical duties, under the
direction of the human resources generalist and human resources director.
The
position also entails assisting other staff with queries related to human
resources processes and acting as a back up for the receptionist or human
resources clerk. This job requires regular, timely attendance at the office.
