Good Shepherd Manor, a Momence, Illinois-based nonprofit residential facility for men with developmental and intellectual disabilities, is looking to hire a human resources director.
The person in this full-time position will recruit department staff, assist in retention programs development, analyze data related to employee turnover and retention, maintain employee files, manage employee relations, inform staff of benefit plans and policies, conduct new staff general orientation and coordinate staff training. This person will also ensure compliance with governmental regulations and safety procedures.
Prospective candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, three years of HR experience, previous supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills and strong knowledge of labor relations laws and regulations. Applicants should also be highly organized and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in HR and five years of HR experience.
