The Georgia Tech Research Institute in Atlanta seeks a full-time human resources generalist.

Duties of the position include assisting with the application of HR policies and procedures, making recommendations regarding HR-related issues, coordinating and facilitating the processing of formal employee relations issues and investigations, and entering data into the HR information system.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; at least four years of related job experience; skills with office computer applications and HRMS databases; and professional level generalist knowledge of HR administrative practices.

Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree; seven years of HR generalist experience; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification; strong conflict resolution, influencing, management and negotiation skills; broad HR expertise; and the ability to handle competing priorities.
