Geodis Logistics seeks HR regional director

Logistics company Geodis is hiring a full-time human resources regional director in Plainfield, Indiana.
Among the responsibilities of the position are overseeing HR staff members, responding to daily employee relations activity, providing guidance on day-to-day performance management, assisting with work-related conflicts, providing education on employee relations topics, evaluating or reviewing evaluations of employee performance, providing guidance on HR policies, generating reports on employee data, and conducting meetings.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree; at least seven years of HR experience; at least five years of experience in staff management; experience using Microsoft Office; and knowledge of management-labor relations, as well as laws and regulations related to employment law, insurance and safety administration.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree.
Applicants should also be able to write reports, present information and respond to questions, interpret instructions in a variety of forms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
