Ford Motor Co. is looking to hire a HR labor relations representative at its Lima, Ohio engine plant.

The representative will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and hiring of hourly employees, overseeing all aspects of hourly employee administration, assisting with UAW contract negotiations and collective bargaining agreements, administrating union representative compensation, educating salaried operations partners on HR policies and programs, responding to grievances, supporting personnel relations activities, developing solutions to meet business needs, and delivering HR products and services in accordance with employment laws and regulations.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree; at least two years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment that included handling negotiations and conflict resolution; at least one year of experience using Microsoft Office; and strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Applicants must also be willing to relocate if needed, as well as work nights and weekends.
