Sweden-based biometrics systems developer Fingerprint Cards AB has named Mattias Hakerod its new senior vice president of human resources.

Hakerod will work at the company’s head office in Gothenburg and will be in charge of talent and performance management, and skills and leadership development.

“I am passionate about ‘matching’ the actual business strategies with our people and capabilities,” Hakerod said. “Given Fingerprint’s exciting position, I’m looking forward to contributing my experience to the company’s continued journey and building on the company’s strong culture and values.”

Hakerod previously was vice president of global HR at medical solutions company MoInlycke. He has also served in HR roles at Vattenfall and AstraZeneca.

“I am tremendously pleased that Mattias, with his solid experience, will begin working with us,” Fingerprints CEO Christian Fredrikson said. “It also feels highly positive that Mattias is joining the company’s Executive Management Group and thereby be part of Fingerprints’ continued growth.”
