Divurgent has hired 20-year industry veteran Jeff Sassencheid as principal of the health care IT consulting company as it expands to meet client and industry needs.

Sassencheid’s appointment comes as Divurgent expands in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Human Capital Management (HCM).

“This vertical in the health care space is severely underserved, and the truth is that an ERP in the financial or retail space is not the same as an ERP at a complex, multi-location health care organization,” Divurgent President Steve Eckert said in a statement. “As an organization, Divurgent has the unique position of offering health care-focused support in these areas, understanding the holistic nature of EHR and ERP integration.”

Sassencheid’s experience includes leading global and HCM suites through ERP transitions and global procurement/supply chain consolidation. He is known as an expert in several areas of technology implementation including design, corporate infrastructure, staffing and optimization and reporting.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jeff to the Divurgent team – he’s bringing a truly unique perspective to these high-demand areas within healthcare and will be focused on amplifying what our team is already doing here,” Divurgent CEO Colin Konschak said in a news release. “We are excited to see what Jeff and his team accomplish over the next five years. We are armed to succeed.”
