Opening up accessibility to more than 900 member organizations, Indianapolis-based nonprofit trade group DirectEmployers Association recently established a partnership with Google, with arrangements to serve as the search engine’s job content provider.

DirectEmployers Association’s affiliation with Google will amplify job network communications and streamline metrics for participants; allow recruiters to extract details as needed; offer search and alert options to free up time for users, all while providing regular updates.

“The association’s driving mission has always been to connect employers and job seekers, and by working with Google, we are able to provide our members with enhanced job visibility and a better link to qualified candidates,” Shannon Offord, director of strategic partnerships for DirectEmployers, said. “We are happy to be collaborating with Google as they take initial steps into the recruitment space.”

DirectEmployers Association began in 2001 as a small recruiting operation and has grown to offer a full slate of products and services aimed at lowering online recruitment costs for job creators while maintaining compliance with contract law. Its founders comprised Fortune 500 companies seeking to lower costs while preserving their recruitment brand, eventually leading to the group’s innovative software development.

“By participating in this initiative, DirectEmployers Members will gain additional exposure to relevant job seekers who begin their search on Google, as well as the opportunity to expand their brand awareness,” company spokespersons said in a press release.
