South Florida Business
& Wealth (SFBW) magazine recently announced its second annual Excellence in
Human Resources Awards, including an outstanding HR professional award for
DentalPlans.com Senior Human Resources Director Olga Patarroyo.
“It is an honor
to be recognized, alongside so many esteemed and passionate industry
professionals,”  Patarroyo said.
The awards were
presented at a ceremony at the Weston Country Club with more than 300
attendees. SFBW selected the honorees, who were also the subject of a section
in a special edition of the magazine, for their professional, community and
leadership acheivements.
“We are proud to
honor and recognize Olga Patarroyo and the rest of the 2017
recipients of the Excellence in HR Awards for all they do within their
organizations and communities,” SFBW Marketing Manager Jordan
Knowles said.
Patarroyo is
responsible for implementing and administering all human resources functions at
DentalPlans.com and has developed company-wide initiatives drawing on her
psychology background to help motivate employees.
“We are thrilled
that Olga was recognized for her work in the community and the workplace,” DentalPlans.com CEO Bob
Harris said. “As a seasoned professional and a key member of our company’s
leadership team, she is most deserving of this award.”
