Teaming up with Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA), lactation and early parenting resource DayOne Baby recently orchestrated onsite services at a Long Beach Convention Center conference, easing the travel experience for new mothers.

PIHRA was able improve the ambience of a busy, fast-paced event by providing lactation consultants, supplies for maternal comfort and hygiene, and hospital-grade breast pumps through its affiliation with DayOne Baby.

“This is a natural partnership because DayOne Baby and PIHRA both work toward creating ever-better workplace environments for all employees and stakeholders, including new parents and mothers,” Brian Allain, PIHRA’s deputy executive director, said. “PIHRA has demonstrated our commitment and support to providing a world-class workplace lactation environment … We hope to set an example for all employers, including in the trade show environment, and we are proud of taking a thought-leadership role.”

DayOne Baby CEO Esther Kestenbaum concurred.

“We … help HR and Benefits professionals provide employees with the very best in workplace lactation facilities,” Kestenbaum said. “Traveling to a trade show is among the most exciting elements of work life, but can be challenging for lactating mothers. In partnering with PIHRA, we provided the very best … to help lactating mothers navigate, enjoy and get the most value out of the conference environment.”

DayOne Baby serves individuals, hospitals and corporate HR departments to improve neonatal care across multiple sectors.
