The David Lawrence Center in North Miami, Florida is seeking a human resources generalist.
Duties of the position include administering job postings, recruiting and screening candidates, conducting background checks, assisting with new hire and post-employment communication and administration, providing employees with information on HR programs and employee benefits, administering the worker’s compensation process, and ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field; three years of HR experience; experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills; and the ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include HR certification.
