Data backup firm Code42 hires senior vice president of people

A former vice president of human resources at Citrix Systems has joined Minneapolis-based tech firm Code42.

Leslie Pendergast, Code42’s new senior VP of people, was hired for her ability to help high-growth companies adapt to success. She will develop Code42’s culture to ensure new hires are welcome while valuing existing employees, the release explained.

“Leslie is experienced with the high-energy pace needed to grow and scale our business,”

Code42’s founder and CEO Joe Payne said. “As we build a more compelling work environment at Code42, great employee engagement translates to more success for our customers.”

Pendergast’s past role as CPO at Datalogix has prepared her to work in talent acquisition and development, culture and well-being, benefits and more.
