Computer Services Inc. (CSI), a Kentucky-based company that provides financial technology solutions, has appointed Andras Bende as chief financial officer.

Bende will replace David Simon, who is set to retire this month after serving the company for 23 years.

“He has a proven background in leading complex financial organizations, and his experience in global markets and large-scale institutions will be a valuable asset as we continue our strategic growth efforts,” Chariman and CEO Steve Powless said.

Bende will lead CSI’s financial reporting, accounting, tax, budgeting, planning and analysis, treasury management, investor relations, and HR functions. In addition, he will serve as a strategic member of the executive leadership team that will help create and execute key business initiatives.

Prior to joining CSI, Bende accumulated 20 years in financial leadership positions including global CFO for GE Working Capital Solutions and European controller for GE Corporate Financial Services. Before that, he served as CFO for Bank BPH in Poland.

Bende graduated with a degree in financial management from Clemson University, and is a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program and the GE Corporate Audit Staff.
