Comcast is seeking application
for a human resources manager in Tucson, Arizona, who
would be responsible for ensuring coordination across human resources teams and
client organizations.
The position is open to human resources
professionals with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and six to nine years of
experience in the field.
The job entails coordination in the
interest of meeting strategic goals and initiatives, as well as maximizing
Comcast’s resources through managing recruitment, compliance, benefits,
compensation and employee relations activities. The successful candidate will
manage a team, potentially including both exempt and non-exempt employees, and
providing guidance and expertise to employees on benefits and compensation.
The
position also entails developing efforts to increase departmental efficiencies
and assisting in departmental budgets, both in terms of creating and meeting
them.
The successful candidate will be
responsible for training managers and supervisors on the company’s human
resources policies and administering those policies for all employees. He or
she will oversee employee relations issues, including assisting with
counselling, discipline and grievance handling.
The position includes
recommending changes to the company’s human resources practices and policies to
incorporate new approaches and promote efficient and effective services.
