CarMax seeks regional HR manager in Colorado

Used-car retailer CarMax is seeking a regional human resources manager to work at its Federal Heights, Colorado location.
The HR manager will be responsible for rolling out HR initiatives for the region, developing and implementing recruiting strategies across departments, providing support on policy interpretation, assisting with associate development, training various management and associate development classes, assisting with employee relation issues, and ensuring policies and procedures comply with local, state and federal laws.
Prospective candidates must possess more than five years or HR experience, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The completion of Senior MAP is required for internal candidates.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, as well as HR experience working with a big-box, multi-unit retailer with a heavy emphasis on employee relations.
The manager will travel three to four days a week among CarMax locations throughout the region and must be willing to sometimes travel overnight.
