Outsourcing provider Canon Business Process
Services is seeking a human resources business
partner/generalist for a full-time position in Chicago.
The position entails working as a consultant in business functions related to sales,
operations and regional management and working with prospective clients and the
sales department to identify transition and financial issues faced by new
accounts.
The successful candidate would also be
responsible for company initiatives like client interaction, management
development and implementation and for developing employment and recruitment
programs and incentives. The job would also including developing procedures for
measuring employee satisfaction and presenting the result, along with action
plans for improving satisfaction levels.
Other responsibilities include
onboarding new hires, coordinating training and development programs and
assisting in employee counselling and compliance with state and federal
employment laws and regulations.
Canon Business Process Services is looking
for candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, though
applicants with a master’s degree are preferred. All candidates should have at
least five years in the human resources field and an additional three years of
experience working as a human resources generalist. Candidates should be
proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and should be knowledgeable
in HRIS systems.
