Businessolver has released details in its first Annual Snapshot — a self-portrait with a focus on performance, engagement, originality and community, including details on new clients and its compound annual growth rate of 35 percent.

Businessovler boasted multiple new clients, including three Fortune 500 companies in the private sector that have more than $100 billion in combined annual revenues.

“Everything we do … is grounded in a commitment to supporting our customers and accelerating our business,” Jon Shanahan, Businessolver president and CEO, said in a company press release. “It’s gratifying to see the progress we made in 2016, and we’re committed to building on the momentum in the year ahead to help our customers achieve their goals.”

Businessolver offers innovations such as an “empathy monitor” and other initiatives.

Reporting progress in its four core values — Perform, Engage, Innovate and Give Back — the snapshot captures accomplishments from the past year.

In 2016, the

West Des Moines, Iowa- based company enabled 350 clients to comply with

regulations for former President Barack Obama’s health care law, the Affordable Care Act; upgraded its technology for better end use; “unlocked” the empathy factor by premiering what it calls its Workplace Empathy Monitor for better engagement and cultural comfort; and streamlined health savings account (HSA) procedures for employers.

“The Workplace Empathy Monitor … findings were truly eye opening and validate the need for leaders to do and say more to show empathy in the workplace,” Businessolver Chief Strategy Officer Rae Shanahan said.

Additionally, the company expanded its “MyChoice” data-based recommendation engine for benefit enrollment plans, as well as a brand-new philanthropic division, the Businessolver Foundation, to give back to the community through employee volunteer work.
