Boasting a 30 percent uptick in year-over-year revenue growth, West Des Moines-based Businessolver barreled through 2017’s first six months, spurring president and CEO Jon Shanahan to reaffirm the SaaS-based benefits administration technology firm’s core values.

“So far, 2017 has been an incredible year of development,” Shanahan said. “Looking ahead, we plan to continue the great momentum we’ve established by partnering with our clients to navigate the increasingly complex marketplace, and provide an engaging benefits experience that meets the diverse and dynamic needs of their organizations.”

Over the past six months, the firm increased its client roster, branching into government, health care, hospitality and manufacturing and counting well-known brands, Fortune 500 firms and award-winning enterprises.

To support the expansion, Businessolver increased its workforce and added Chicago to its growing list of locations. At the management level, it added CTO Sean McMurray and VP of marketing Cynthia Phillips — both experienced industry executives.

“I’m proud of our incredible growth and achievement during the first half of the year,” Shanahan said. “We’ll continue to succeed in 2017 by remaining committed to our values, and staying focused on our simple, but clear mission to grow our business and delight our clients.”

Businessolver and its team have gleaned several awards and recognition from affiliated industry sources including credit for meeting Baldrige Excellence Framework standards.
