Independent media organization Argus recently named Matthew Burkley its chief operating officer.
“I am very excited to be joining Argus to help drive the expansion of the business,” Burkley said. “I am very impressed by the customer focus, commitment to excellence and continuous innovation of the Argus organization.”
Burkley was previously CEO at Genscape, a commodity data and intelligence provider. He has also held numerous positions at Thomson Reuters, including head of strategy for the markets division and chief financial officer.
“We are delighted that Matthew is joining us,” Argus Chairman and Chief Executive Adrian Binks said. “His expertise in data and insight provision is very relevant to our business. Argus is expanding rapidly and Matthew will play a key role in helping drive this growth.”
