Bruce Gillis joins Businessolver as strategy practice leader

Businessolver recently hired Bruce Gillis as strategy practice leader for Health, Welfare and Compliance.

Gillis will be in charge of the regulatory compliance activities on the Benefitsolver technology platform.

Some of these compliance services include the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Gillis will be the company’s HIPAA privacy officer and will execute strategy and operations related to proactive health and welfare compliance monitoring. He will also support Businessolver’s thought leadership in compliance relative to client service, product development, education and risk mitigation.

Gillis has 30 years of experience across the industry, including senior-level roles at SHPS Inc., Towers Perrin Inc. (now Willis Towers Watson), and Conduent Inc. (formerly part of Xerox Corporation). At Conduent, where he was most recently employed as health and welfare practice leader, he oversaw Health and Welfare compliance support and was a pioneer for the company’s proprietary system for ACA reporting.
