Broward Health has tapped Kiera Page as the health care system’s new corporate chief human resources officer.

Page, a 12-year human resources professional, will direct the daily operations of the regional human resources department including recruitment, development and retention programs.

“We are pleased to be welcoming Kiera to the Broward Health team,” interim President and CEO Beverly Capasso said in a press release. “With her background and experience, we are confident she will help build effective relationships with all levels of management and employees.”

Page will also provide direction and support for regional management regarding compensation, benefits, employment, training and employee relations. Page will also oversee programs for attracting, retaining and motivating the healthcare system’s employees.

Page recently served as Miami’s Jackson North Medical Center’s director of human resources. While at Jackson, she oversaw all human resources functions for the hospital’s over 9,000 employees, six hospital centers, primary care facilities, speciality centers, school-based clinics, long-term care and nursing facilities, corrections health services clinics and network of mental-health facilities.

She is a graduate of Kean University in Union, New Jersey, where she earned her bachelor of arts in psychology. She also holds a master of arts in labor and employment relations from Rutgers University.
