Bolton & Co. taps Guthrie as benefits division’s associate VP

Independent insurance brokerage Bolton & Co. has named Patrick Guthrie associate vice president of its employee benefits division. 

“Patrick brings the experience and knowledge to provide multiple perspectives on complex client situations,” President and CEO Steve Brockmeyer said. “This gives us a chance to really focus in on the challenges these clients may face and help move the needle in identifying solutions and efficiencies.”

Guthrie will be responsible for supporting clients with strategic resources merged with favorable solutions for building better workplace and interactive employee culture. According to the company, he is also committed to ensuring the acquisition of top employees for the company’s existing and upcoming clients, in addition to improving other human resource opportunities by reducing costs, enriching offerings and providing technical development.

Before joining Bolton & Co., Guthrie worked with Nestle USA, where he was responsible for auditing human resources, safety and IT departments at factories throughout the country. He also implemented numerous wellness incentives and served as an analyst on Nestle’s sales finance team.

Guthrie holds a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Arizona.
