Minna Blomqvist has been appointed executive vice president of human resources at Uponor Corp.
The appointment was made by Uponor Corp.’s board of directors and will be executed in September 2017 when Blomqvist will officially join the corporation.
She currently is the vice president of HR at Wärtsilä Corp., an international company, where she works in the Energy Solutions division. Blomqvist is ideally suited for the position with Uponor, as she has held many positions in companies such as Nokia Siemens Network, Nokia and Andersen Consulting. She boasts experience in areas of change management, integration and business strategy and process development, to name a few.
Based in Finland, Uponor is dedicated to innovating safe drinking water delivery system and energy-efficient temperature infrastructure.
