Global specialty biopharmaceutical company Shire is looking for a human resources partner in Bannockburn, Illinois.
Duties of the position include assisting with new employee orientation, facilitating HR training courses for new managers, participating in local talent planning, analyzing talent data, overseeing leave of absences, analyzing employee surveys, informing employees and managers about HR policies and programs, facilitating year-end review process, resolving employee relations issues, making recommendations on the employee disciplinary process, and auditing data.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree; strong communication, leadership, analytical and decision-making skills; and working knowledge of local and state employment laws.
Preferred qualifications include at least three years HR experience working in a large/matrix organization.
